Good Camping Books

Camping with the Corps of Engineers. Extremely detailed book on all campgrounds maintained by the Corps of Engineers. It has contact information, maps and good detail about the campground. The Engineers have great primitive to full service modern campground sites. I love this book.

Camping Made Easy. I recommend this book for anyone just begining to learn how to camp. The author does a superb job in teaching you about the different camping eqiupement you should use. The author also gives tons of information on how to go camping with your children. A very fun and interesting read.

Foghorn Outdoors Camping Companion. Probably one of the best comprehensive guides on camping. I like the checklist that it provides. Recommended highly.

Speaking of Foghorn Outdoors. Their series of outdoor books specific to different regions of the US are outstanding.
