There are many different kinds of camping tents available. You just have to know what kind of camping that you intend on doing. If you plan on backpacking then you will want to purchase a lightweight 1 to 2 person tent. If you are taking your family to a campground then a family camping tent for 4 or more people should be adequate. If you are planning on camping during the harsh winter months, then nothing but a 4-season tent will do.

Dual integrated vestibules offer 18 total sq. ft. of additional weather-protected external storage space. Integrated gear loft loops offer a connection point for the Big Agnes Copper Spur Gear Loft (sold separately). DAC Featherlite NSL aluminum poles are both lightweight and durable. The single hub/pole design works in conjunction with the tent body's integrated DAC Twist Clips to make setting up the Copper Spur UL2 fast, easy and intuitive. An additional short section of pole runs across the roof the Copper Spur UL3 and connects easily via an innovative HClip attachment, pulling the tent body taut, increasing the verticality of the interior walls and helping to improve the spaciousness of the two vestibules. An eco-friendly anodizing process is used by DAC to treat the poles without the toxic chemicals traditionally used on aluminum tent poles. Ample mesh on the tent body and the large D-shaped doors maximizes cross ventilation and provides circulation to fight condensation build-up. Coated with waterproof polyurethane, the rip-stop nylon floor and rainfly are lightweight and durable.
